Plugins
Plugins connect the public website to another service, such as analytics or Mailchimp. They do not create an account with that service. A feature turns on a JORD tool; a plugin usually also needs details from a provider account.

For ordinary content editing, leave these settings unchanged. Ask the organisation’s analytics, marketing, or website administrator for the values if you do not manage the provider account.
Each plugin has its own guide in the plugin catalog.

Before you enable a plugin
Get the values for this exact website from an account controlled by the organisation. A value from another website may save without an error but send information to the wrong account.
An ID identifies a site, account, or tracking installation. A key or token can grant access.
Do not post keys or tokens in messages, wiki pages, or screenshots. Hide all account values in support screenshots.
Ask the person responsible for the site’s privacy setup to approve a tracking plugin before you add or change it.
Enable and test a connection
- Open Website > Settings and scroll to Plugins.
- Find the plugin card by its name.
- Turn on the card’s Turn on switch. The card’s fields appear.
- Fill in every field using the supplied values.
- Check for extra spaces and confirm you used the correct website account.
- Select Save at the bottom of the screen.
- Open the public website and use the provider’s test or verification process with its account owner.
Most cards also show a link to the provider’s website.
A successful save means JORD stored the settings. It does not prove that the provider accepted them.
Keep the previous values available privately if you are replacing an existing connection. Turning a card off keeps its values in the form, so you can turn it back on later.
A plugin saves but does not work
Check these in order:
- Confirm the plugin is still on after reopening the settings.
- Compare every field with the values supplied for this website.
- Check whether the integration needs another value, such as Hotjar’s snippet version or Gemius’s prefix.
- Ask the account owner to check provider-side setup and the site’s privacy choices.
- Ask the website administrator whether another installation, such as Tag Manager, conflicts with it. While Google Tag Manager is on, JORD does not load the Google Analytics 4 plugin.
Share the plugin name, page address, time of the test, and error message with support. Redact account values. Do not keep replacing unrelated settings to see which one works.
