Usage guide
Use Gemius when the website takes part in audience measurement through Gemius.
What you need
- The Gemius identifier supplied for this site.
- The prefix supplied with it. The prefix is a separate integration value that becomes part of the address JORD loads the Gemius script from. It is not a title you invent for the website.
Set it up
- Open Website > Settings and scroll to Plugins.
- Find the Gemius card in the Analytics group.
- Switch on the card’s Turn on switch. The card’s fields appear.
- Enter the identifier in Code/ID.
- Enter the prefix in Prefix.
- Select Save at the bottom of the screen.
Check that it works
Ask the Gemius account owner to confirm that hits from the public site arrive.
Likely mistakes
- JORD loads Gemius only when both Code/ID and Prefix are filled in. If you only have the identifier, get the missing prefix before you finish the setup.
- Do not paste a whole script into either field.
