Load a TikTok pixel on every page and record page views for TikTok ads.

Usage guide

Use TikTok Pixel for an approved TikTok advertising measurement setup. JORD loads the pixel on every public page and records a page view. It does not send other events, such as purchases or sign-ups.

What you need

  • The pixel ID supplied for this website in the organisation’s TikTok Ads Manager.
  • Approval from the person responsible for the site’s privacy setup.

Set it up

  1. Open Website > Settings and scroll to Plugins.
  2. Find the TikTok Pixel card in the Marketing group.
  3. Switch on the card’s Turn on switch. The card’s fields appear.
  4. Enter the ID in Pixel ID.
  5. Select Save at the bottom of the screen.

Check that it works

Visit the public site, then ask the advertising account owner to confirm in TikTok’s tools that page views arrive.

Likely mistakes

  • A TikTok profile URL is not a pixel ID.
  • Check for a duplicate installation through Google Tag Manager.
  • With Pixel ID empty, JORD loads nothing, even with the card turned on.
