Usage guide
Use Google Tag Manager when the organisation manages its website tracking tags in a Tag Manager container. A container is a collection of tracking configuration for a website.
What you need
- The container ID from the organisation’s Tag Manager account, such as
GTM-XXXXXXX. - Approval from the person responsible for the site’s privacy setup.
Set it up
- Open Website > Settings and scroll to Plugins.
- Find the Google Tag Manager card in the Analytics group.
- Switch on the card’s Turn on switch. The card’s fields appear.
- Enter the container ID in Google Tag Manager ID. Enter only the ID, not an installation script or the address of the Tag Manager website.
- Select Save at the bottom of the screen.
JORD loads the container with this ID on every public page.
Check that it works
Ask the account owner to confirm in Tag Manager that the container’s tags run on the public website. Agree which tags should run before publishing changes in the Tag Manager account.

⚠️
Warning
While this plugin is on with an ID, JORD does not load the Google Analytics 4 plugin. Set up Analytics inside the Tag Manager container instead.
- If advertising pixels are already installed through Tag Manager, do not also turn on the matching Facebook Pixel or TikTok Pixel plugin. Duplicate installation can count the same activity more than once.
- An empty ID field loads nothing, even with the card turned on.
