Usage guide

Use Facebook Pixel for an approved Meta advertising measurement setup. JORD loads the pixel on every public page and records a page view. It does not send other events, such as purchases or sign-ups.

What you need

  • The pixel ID assigned to this website in the organisation’s Meta Events Manager.
  • Approval from the person responsible for the site’s privacy setup.

Set it up

  1. Open Website > Settings and scroll to Plugins.
  2. Find the Facebook Pixel card in the Marketing group.
  3. Switch on the card’s Turn on switch. The card’s fields appear.
  4. Enter the pixel ID in Code.
  5. Select Save at the bottom of the screen.

Check that it works

Visit the public site, then ask the advertising account owner to check that page views arrive in Meta Events Manager.

Likely mistakes

  • Check whether the same pixel is already delivered through Google Tag Manager before turning this on. Duplicate installation counts visits twice.
  • Do not turn it on merely because the website has a Facebook profile link.
  • With Code empty, JORD loads nothing, even with the card turned on.
